Mrs. Joann Jones, age 76 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was formerly of Tampa, FL. and was retired from the old Maas Bros. Dept. Store in Tampa after 25 years of service.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her 7 children, Stephen Palacious (Yolanda), Steve Jones (Jackie), Russell Jones, Shelia Jones (Stanley J. Smith), David Jones, Lisa Derridinger (Mark), Rodney Jones (Anne); brother, Edwin Altman (Mary Sue); sister, Bobbie Griffin (Roy); 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2011 at Eastwood Christian Church 16410 Eastwood Cut Off Road Louisville, Ky. 40245. Memorials may be made to Hosparus, www.hosparus.org. Online condolences at www.Newcomerlouisville.com.
