Joann (Beeles) Elliott

JoAnn (Beeles) Elliott, 91, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. She was a longtime member of Portland Avenue Church of Christ.

She was born on September 2, 1932 in Louisville, Kentucky to Edward and Evelyn (Ross) Beeles. Along with her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, John Elliott, Sr.; son, Eddie Elliott; great-grandson, Anthony Hutchins; sister, Ora Pfeiffer; and brothers, Ernie and Sonny Beeles.

JoAnn is survived by her children, Woodrow Elliott (Susan), Melissa Elliott, John Elliott, Jr.; granddaughters, Miranda Hulsey (Kevin), Karmann Elliott, Stacy Wales (JD); five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Tuesday after 9:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville.
