Joan C. Mullins

Joan C. Mullins, 88, passed away on June 19, 2023. Joan was recognized as the Foster Mother of the year in 1981. She owned her own beauty salon and sold B-Line fashions. Joan was a fighter and survivor by beating cancer on 3 occasions. She was a loving, sassy and caring mother. Joan enjoyed day trips to the country, shopping thrift stores and was an avid cat lover.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Aileen; son, Perry Hartlage; sisters, Dotsy Tyler, Pheba Kaufman, Linda Phelps, Gloria Newman and her brother, Bobby Chapman,

Joan leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Kenneth (Clara) Hartlage, Richard (Connie) Hartlage, Rosanne Boyer and Dan Hancock, Frank Adkins and Cas Santos and Deanna Franke; 8 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 2pm-4pm.
