Joan Gale (Ellis) Mann
August 14, 1931 — July 7, 2014
Joan Mann, 82, passed away on July 7, 2014. She was very active in the Presbyterian Church in Mt. Vernon, IL, held offices in the Republican Women's Club and Business Professional Women's Association. She enjoyed cooking, camping and the company of her beloved cats.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Edward Mann; daughters, Lori Ann Mann, Susan Michelle Shepard and two infant daughters.
She is survived by her daughter, Gayle (Kenneth) Miller; grandchildren, Kathy (Danny) Crain, Cindy (Chris) Davis, Michael (Marie) Shepard and Julie (Keith) Jackson; great-grandchildren, Ronnie (Heather), Jessica, Jacob, Jared, Trinity, Christian, Suzy and Paul and great-great-grandchild, Isaac.
A gathering of friends for Joan will be Thursday, July 10, 2014, from 6pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway).
