Joan Elizabeth Hess

Mrs. Joan Elizabeth Hunter Hess, age 79 of Louisville, passed away Monday, November 7, 2011. She was a member of Evangel World Prayer Center and was preceded in death by her husband Roy, son Gary, and daughter Joan Diane Peevey.
Mrs. Hess is survived by her children Gail Larocco, Donna Whitt (John), Tony Hess (Robin), Tina Draper (Mike) and Joy Strickland; sister, Joyce Cheatham (Don); 20 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren.
She has blessed many and will be deeply missed by all. Her legacy of love, joy and faithfulness will live forever.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 10th at Evangel World Prayer Center, 5400 Minors Lane with Dr. Bob Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
Memorials may be made to the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association).
