Joan (Hill) Clark, 84, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was an animal lover. Joan liked playing bingo and was known for her ability to knit.
She was born on March 28, 1938 in London, England. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Jeanette Hill; and beloved husband, Don Clark, and son, Randy Thomas.
Joan is survived by her children, Dale Thomas, Jeanette Gilger; grandchildren, Nicholas Thomas (Jenn), Brandon Thomas (Kayleb), Joanie Gilger, Janice Dixon (Johanan); and great-grandchildren, Carson Thomas, Alivia Thomas, Benjamin Thomas, Johanan T. Dixon, Jeremiah Dixon.
Joan's wish was to be cremated and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care. A reception of family and friends will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles (113 W. Maple Street, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
