Joachim "Joe" Hoter, 70, of Louisville passed away on October 25, 2014. Joe worked for A.C. Tool and Machine Company from 1971 until he passed. He was a proud Army Veteran who served his country in Vietnam. Joe enjoyed the outdoors and spent a lot of time at the lake in his younger years. He was an animal lover, a fan of UofL sports, but most of all he was a proud father and grandfather.
Joe was born May 1, 1944 to Herbert Hoter and Erika McMillan. His father preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Monica Novak and step-father, Jimmy McMillan.
Survivors include his son, Anthony Hoter (Melinda) of Rineyville; mother, Erika McMillan of Radcliff; sister, Dorothy Bussey (James) of Montana; brother, Larry McMillan (Beverly) of Radcliff; and granddaughters, Ashleigh, Lindsay, and Emily Hoter.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Funeral Ceremony will be held Wednesday at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with burial to follow in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff, KY.
