Jo Ann (McCall) Kruer, 79, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014. She enjoyed dancing, crocheting, and loved playing cards with her family & friends.
Jo Ann was born on April 10, 1935 in Phoenix, Arizona to the late Ruth (Campbell) & Joe Hime. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Kruer; son, Mark Kruer; daughter, Mary Ann Kruer; grandson, Mark Burnett.
Jo Ann is survived by her children, Donald Kruer, Jr. (Diane), Russell Kruer (Susan), Rebecca Crady (Jeffery), Philip Kruer (Cheryl), Paul Kruer (Janet), Elizabeth Phillimore (Jay), & David Kruer; brothers, Forest Hime (Colleen) & Joey Hime (Debbie); sisters, Bonnie Busbee (Kent) & Sharon Martin (Doug); 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Friday, August 1, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane New Albany, Indiana 47150). Her Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Cemetery.
