Jimmy Albert Putnam, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.

He was born on May 20, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Anita Putnam, Daughter, Bobby J. Wolney-Smith, and Aunt, Jean Rice.

Jimmy is survived by his loving family, Life Partner, Alta E. Hayes; Children, Jamie L. (Robert) Wolney-Higgason, Christopher S. (Kayla) Wolney, Samantha W. Marbury, and Tanya (Kenneth) Hayes; Grandchildren, Eric Smith, Emonie Smith, Emontae Smith, Chase Higgason, Kaylee Higgason, Robert Higgason, Keith Brooks, Jr., Kurieon Brooks, Chanzlen Butler, Ziyla Wolney, Christopher Wolney, Jr., Cody Hayes, Anabelle Quonce-Hayes, and Isabelle Quonce-Hayes; Sister, Drew (Norman) Lewis; Brother, Anthony; Niece, Angel Porter, as well as a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
