Jimmy D. Gadd

Jimmy D. Gadd, 71, of Georgetown, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012. He retired from Indiana American Water and was a member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA).

Jimmy was born on December 13, 1940 in Whitley City, Kentucky to the late William and Jeanette (Linnville) Gadd. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Jan Harris, Billy Gadd, and Betty McClure. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Lori (ZurSchmiede) Gadd; children, Shelly Jo Lorenzen (Steve), Michael Gadd; and four grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen following Jimmy's wishes. A Private Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). It is requested that memorial contributions be made to Amedisys Hospice (305 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, IN 47130)or to any local animal shelter in his name.
