Jimmie Neal Eaton, Sr., 76, born on October 14, 1937, in Fountain Run, KY to Pete and Lois Eaton,passed away on December 8, 2013. He enjoyed his grandchildren, UofL basketball, deer hunting with his nephew Danny, playing Rook, gardening, fishing and could always be found watching FOX News. His favorite pastime was making the "Duck Face" while posing for photos with his grandkids. Jimmie Neal loved his country and supported the military.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Katrina Roach; brother, Pete Eaton and sisters, Maureen Simmons and Eva Dean Slaven.
He is survived by his children, Shannon Smithson, Jimmy Eaton, Jr., Tonya (Chris) Peyton, and Fonda (Charles) Hayes; grandchildren, Dennis, Kelsie, Halee, Alyssa, Alexis, Jessie, Autumn, Sabrina, Caleb, Nick, Jaylan, and Lydia; sister, Mildred O'Brien and numerous nephews and one niece.
Visitation for Jimmie Neal will be Thursday from 1pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). A Celebration of Jimmie Neal's life will be Friday at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home.
Dad, we thank you for all you did for us and we will miss you terribly.
