Jewell Dean Adams

Jewell Dean Adams, age 77 passed away on Friday, August 23,2024 at Franciscan Health Care Center in Louisville, KY. She was born September 30, 1946, in Springfield, KY., daughter of the late Ruel and Mae Bottom. Jewell spent most of her childhood years in Perryville/Danville, KY areas. She married the love of her life, Jimmy Adams, in 1968 and they started their life together in Louisville, KY. Her family was her pride and joy and devoted most of her life to their care. She was selfless, always helping those who needed her. Jewell was a devout member of Bethlehem Baptist until she was no longer able to attend. Jewell was proceeded in death by her husband Jimmy. 

She was survived by her daughter, Jena Hargrove (Jerrid); grandchildren, Tyler Hargrove (Mo), MaKaya Hargrove, Parker Hargrove and Phoenix Hargrove; one precious great-granddaughter, Beatrice (Bea) Hargrove; brothers: Marrison Bottom (Judy) and Alton Bottoms (Debbie); Sisters: Vonda Bottoms, Paula Naylor (John Richardson) and Gloria Weigle (Jerry); many brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. 

Memorial funds can be made in her name to Bethlehem Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. 

Jewell never liked being the center of attention and per her wishes she chose cremation with no services. Please privately celebrate Jewell’s memory in your own way. She will be with us all in spirit. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
