Jessie "Juanita" (Frank) Freeman, 81, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013. She retired from Honey Creme Doughnut Shop in New Albany after 40 years of service, enjoyed reading and going out for drives around town. Juanita loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Juanita was born on May 16, 1932 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Thomas B. and Myrtle M. (Burgess) Frank. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Norman E. Freeman; son, Walter E. Freeman; siblings, Virginia Frank, Nellie Mayfield, and Thomas Frank.
She is survived by her children, Virginia M. "Sissy" Mullins (Tony), Tommy C. Freeman (Jane); grandchildren, Christopher, Melanie, Tony, Jennifer, Corey, Sarah, Coby; great-grandchildren, Amy, Alex, Christopher, and Lucas.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM on Friday, November 29, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Frank Cemetery in Mauckport, Indiana.
