Jessica Stamper, 36, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 2, 2023.
She was born on April 30, 1987 in Baltimore, Maryland to Jeffrey and Elaine (Vandrick) Stamper. Jessica attended the University of Missouri and enjoyed her employment at an insurance company.
She was a beautiful, kind, and empathetic soul with a heart of gold. Jessica had a great sense of humor that brought joy to everyone who met her. The LIGHT OF HER LIFE was her son Jackson, and she was an amazing and fun mother to him.
Jessica is preceded in death by her father, Jeff L. Stamper. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, Jackson Layne Hager; mother, Elaine Stamper; grandmother, Kay Vandrick (who held a special place in her heart); brothers, Jeffrey (Amber) and Levi (Linda) Stamper; her favorite uncle, Bill (Sharon) Vandrick; cousins, Jackie and Joe; and too many nieces, nephews and friends to count.
The loss of Jessica is deeply felt by all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished and her presence will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace and meet all those waiting for her.
Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 330 North Hubbards Lane, Louisville, KY 40207
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jessica's name to the Jefferson County Humane Society.
