Jessica Lynn Duncan, born on June 26, 1976, departed this world on December 13, 2024. In her brief yet impactful journey of life, Jessica became a cherished figure in the hearts of many. She pursued her passions with fervor, graduating from Paul Mitchell Cosmetology and Beauty School and obtaining a Bachelor's degree in business, pursuits that underscored her dedication to excellence.
Jessica's career in the food industry saw her rise to upper management, where she was not only respected for her professionalism but also liked for her warm demeanor and supportive spirit. Her colleagues remember her as a beacon of positivity, effortlessly fostering camaraderie and collaboration within her teams.
Beyond her career, Jessica cherished her son, Austin, and the moments spent in the warm embrace of her family and friends. She found joy in attending sporting events, enjoyed the thrill of the game while sharing laughter and excitement with loved ones like her fiancé of several years, Aaron Gividen and his daughter, Jaden. Those who knew her can vividly recall evenings of cinematic entertainment, where she would enjoy her favorite movies and shows, while reading a good book.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Duncan; son, Chase and brother, Jacob Duncan.
Jessica leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Austin; mother, Vera Forrester; brothers, Jimmy Duncan, Jimmy Perry, Jason Perry and Jonathan Duncan and her fur baby, Reese.
As we gather to celebrate her life, visitation will be held on December 19, 2024, from noon until 2:00 PM at the Louisville Grace Community Church Of The Nazarene, located at 4308 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, concluding with a graveside service at the Rolling Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, located at 475 Rolling Fork Church Rd, Boston, KY, starting at 3:15 PM.
Jessica Lynn Duncan leaves behind a legacy of compassion, joy, and indelible memories. She will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will live on in the laughter of those who remember her warmth, in the stories exchanged among friends, and in the hearts of her loved ones.
