Jerry West

April 14, 1954 — November 28, 2013

Jerry West, 59, went to be with the Lord on November 28, following a stay at VA Hospice Center. He was a United States Army veteran and a member of Brooks Baptist Church. Jerry had a wonderful sense of humor, a loving heart and compassion for everyone he met. He loved riding Harley's.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Elmer West.

He is survived by the love of his life, Brenda West; daughter, Jamie West of Florida; grandson, Brayden; sisters, Mary (Ray) Hardin and Darlene (Jeff) Palmer; several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, two aunts and uncles.

Jerry's visitation will be Monday, December 2, from 12pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway). Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 3, at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home at 11am.

Burial will be at Bethany Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Hwy, Valley Station, KY.

In lieu of flowers the expressions of sympathy may be made to the family.
