Jerry Lamont Watkins was born December 23, 1963 to James Watkins and Joyce Frazier. He was called home on Tuesday, September 25, 2012.

Jerry was a graduate of Southern High School in Louisville, Kentucky. He was baptized at St. Mary's Catholic church.

Jerry worked for the Louisville Water Company . He had a love for animals especially dogs and was a skilled dog trainer and breeder.

Jerry was passionate about his music, singing, and his F-250 truck, along with grilling out and camping. Above all, he loved his family.

He was a loving husband and father and is survived by his one and only love, wife of 25 years, Marian Watkins; children: Jerrica and Jerry II; mother and stepfather: Joyce and Edward Frazier; father: James Watkins; siblings: Kendrick (Rachel), Troy, Joy (Steve), and Tara; grandparents: Willie James and Mable Watkins; mother-in-law: Latacha Brewer; brother in-law: Shannon Brewer and his best friend, his wingman —Jeff Volpert, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Rest in peace Big Jerry. You will be missed.
