Jerry Allen Tyson Jr.

Jerry " Tyson" Allen Tyson Jr. , 51, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023. He was an artist, free lancer, and provider; loved old school music and cars; an avid collector of anything and everything. He was a very passionate protector, especially when it came to family. His family describes him as an inspiration of power and strength, with a good heart and soul. He was full of charisma and aspirations.

He was born on September 28, 1971 in Louisville, Kentucky to Jerry and Georgia (Adams) Tyson. He is preceded in death by his Father, Jerry Allen Tyson, Sr., Siblings, LaTonya Lamae Ogburn and Shavon Lewis.

Jerry is survived by his loving family, Mother, Georgia A. Tyson; Fiance, Teresa L. Cooper; Son, Jerry A. Tyson III, Daughter, Kamaria N. Tyson, and Son, Braxton C. Tyson; Siblings, Rosezetta M. Hines and Fontelo D. Tyson, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Christ Temple Apostolic Church, (723 South 45th Street). His Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, at Christ Temple Apostolic Church with burial to follow at Green Meadows Cemetery in Louisville, KY.
