Shaw, Jerry, 60; of Louisville, KY passed away on November 5, 2014.
Jerry was born on May 19, 1954, in Glasgow, KY to the late Arthur & Lera Shaw. He was also preceded in death by, one step-son, Robert Blankenship; six siblings; two nephews; and one niece.
He is survived by his loving companion of 22 years, Estelle Blankenship; step-children, Brenda Brown, Jamie Blankenship; five grandchildren, and one special grand-daughter, Brittney Blankenship; siblings, Ruth Ann Worman (Terry), Juanita Coulter, Morris Shaw (Darlene), Thomas Shaw; several nieces and nephews, and one that he holds dear to his heart, Mark South.
He worked as a Pool Shark, and also built gazebos. Jerry became a member of the Gospel Kingdom Church in 2000.
Visitation will be from 1pm to 8pm Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY). A Funeral Ceremony to honor the life of Jerry will be held Monday at 12:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Gospel Kingdom Campground.
In loving memory of Jerry, memorial donations can be made to a special charity of your choice.
