Jerry Louis Minton Sr., 75, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on September 14, 1942 to the late Daymon J. and Violet Minton. He was retired from the Jefferson County Police Department and was a United States Navy veteran.
Jerry is survived by his beloved children, Jerry (LaDonna) Minton, Jr. and Janice (Clark) Eaton; former wife and caregiver, Jackie Minton; four grandchildren, Jeremy Minton, Jay Eaton, Daymon C. Minton and Taylor (Ryan) Golden; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral Ceremony will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Visitation will be from 3-8 on Thursday at the funeral home.
