Jerry Alton Bouggess

Jerry Alton Bouggess, age 73 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Jerry Alton Bouggess was born on November 3, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Silas "SA" Bouggess and Pauline Bouggess-Willoughby. He was also preceded in death by his late wife Angela Newby-Bouggess, son John Anthony Robertson, stepson Michael Newby and his brothers Terry Bouggess, Sr (his twin) and William (Billy) Bouggess.
Affectionately known as "Pap Pap" to his grandchildren, and Unc/ Uncle Jerry to his nephews and nieces. He enjoyed time spent hanging out, riding through the city or just sharing a meal at his sister's house. Jerry had lots of hobbies, but his favorite was playing chess. He will be missed tremendously among his family, friends, and community.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. A celebration of Jerry's life will be 11am Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church 714 S. Shelby Street Louisville, KY 40203.
