Jerry Blessitt, 60, went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2023. He was a devoted Christian to our Lord Jesus Christ. Jerry was a 1981 graduate of Atherton High School and retired from Masonic Homes of Kentucky. He enjoyed listening to music and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelby and Mary Blessitt; brothers, Michael Blessitt and Anthony Blessitt and his sister, Linda Tindall.
Jerry leaves to cherish his memories, his loving partner of 30 years, Lucy Alexander; sister, Brenda Blessitt; special nephews, John and Zachary and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, December 11, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 4pm-8pm. A celebration of Jerry's life will be Tuesday, December 12, 2023, beginning at 1pm at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, beginning at 2pm at Finley Cemetery, East Lynn, WV.
