Jerome Anthony "Jimmy" Miller, 62, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023. He was a United States Army veteran that served in Desert Storm and Iraq. Jimmy was a member of the American Legion Post 69 in Orleans, Indiana. He had many interests that included woodworking, collecting antique furniture and flying boomerangs. Jimmy was an animal lover and had rescued several greyhounds and yorkies over the years. Above all, Jimmy loved his family deeply and was the proud Papa to his best bud, Ezekiel.
He was born on October 17, 1960 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to George and Marina (Dattilo) Miller. In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his sister, Gilda Myers.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Marlo (Ragland) Miller; daughter, Patricia "Tricia" Brumback (Benjamin); grandson, Ezekiel Brumback; siblings, Donna Havens (Robert), Antoinette Miller, George Miller III (Maria), Russell Miller; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Jimmy's wish was to be cremated and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with his care. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter or the Kentucky Humane Society.
A celebration of Jimmy's life will be announced at a later date.
