Jenny Grubs

Jenny Grubs, 59, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024. Jenny was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and Granny. She was loving and had a heart of gold. Jenny enjoyed spending time with her family and making memories with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on February 25, 1965 in Kinston, North Carolina to Hubert and Dora (Summerling) Street. She is preceded in death by her father, Hubert Earl Street; mother, Dora Marie Worley; son, Kevin Strickland; daughter, Tammy Jo Strickland; grandson, Jesse Allen Ordway; and brother-in-law, David Peyton.

Jenny is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Bill Grubs; daughters, Amanda Strickland, Michelle (Scott Cole) Ordway; sons, Joseph Allen Coombs, Jr., Roger Dale Strickland, Jr.; step-daughter, Sarah (Greg) King; step-sons, Michael Grubs, Joshua Grubs; grandchildren, Kaleb Allen Coombs, Isabella Nicole Peyton, Samantha Dawn Coombs, Kevin Dale Strickland, Tazaria Christina Marie Myers, Jaelyn Roberson, Benjamin Mason Gonzalez, Brayden Strickland; sisters, Dawn (Jimmy) Mathis, Kaye Peyton; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
