Jenifer L."Jenny"(Storey) Hime

Jenifer L. "Jenny" (Storey) Hime, 57, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 after fighting a very courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Jenny was a dedicated volunteer at the Cancer Society and also a faith filled Christian. She could easily be described as the world's "Best Mom."

Jenny was born on June 25, 1955 in New Albany to Rosella (Croft) Kessinger and the late Clifford Storey. Along with her mother, she is survived by her children, Benjamin (Jody), John, Katherine Hime; siblings, David (Dee), Thomas Storey, Jill Cosby (Nathan); grandson, Landon Hime; step-father, Albert Kessinger; many friends, nieces, nephews; and one very special great-niece, Kinsley Cosby. She will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM on Monday, October 8, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Memorial Service taking place at 7 PM.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lynn Parker and her staff, as well as 6 South at the University of Louisville Hospital for their care of Jenny. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
