Jeffrey Wayne Tingle

Jeffrey Wayne "Jeff" Tingle, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Jeff was a loving and devoted husband, father, Papa, and brother. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time on the beach. Jeff enjoyed muscle cars and loved to color with his "Blueberry". He was a die hard UofL Cardinals fan. Jeff will be deeply missed by his three dogs and all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on May 15, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to Eugene and Shirley (Brock) Tingle. He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ann Tingle; father, Eugene Hartman Tingle, Sr.; sister, Rebecca Lynn Gritton; father-in-law, Arthur Ray Burgin, Sr.; and mother-in-law, Flora Helen Burgin.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Marketta Tingle; brother, Eugene (Brenda) Tingle, Jr.; son, Dustin Tingle; daughters, Carrie (Aaron) Denton, Patricia (Eric) Sparkman; grandchildren, Jordan Denton, Hannah Jo Denton, Caleb Denton, Noah Sparkman, Willow "Blueberrry" Sparkman; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Beth Haven Memorial Gardens in Louisville, Kentucky.
