Jeffrey Scott "Jeff" Sammons, a cherished father, grandfather, and friend, departed this world on September 26, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky, leaving behind a legacy imbued with warmth, laughter, and creativity. Born on September 21, 1965, Jeff his presence often marked by infectious laughter and a keen sense of humor that brought joy to every gathering.

A proud graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Jeff's intelligence shone just as brightly as his wit. He navigated life with a unique combination of ambition and a whimsical spirit, always finding a way to infuse fun into even the most mundane tasks. His love for performance was evident in his passion for playing the piano, often showcasing his talents in musicals and theater, where he could weave melodies that resonated with the hearts of many.

Beyond his remarkable skills in music, Jeff found joy in cooking, transforming the kitchen into a joyful playground where treasured recipes were created and shared with family. His interests extended further to stamp collecting and photography, hobbies that allowed him to explore the intricacies of life while capturing precious moments along the way.

However, Jeff's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly his daughters, who were the very essence of his being. He held deep affection for them, celebrating their milestones and supporting their dreams. Jeff will be sorely missed by all who had the fortune of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Sammons.

Jeff leaves to cherish his memories his adoring daughters, Kristin (Justin) Meuse, Katie (Kenneth) Slayton and Kortney ( Isaac) McDonald; grandsons, Milo, Reilly and Dallas; mother, Betty Sammons; mother of his children, Becky Sammons; brother, Todd Sammons; sister,Tamara Williams.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024, beginning at 2pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
