Jeffrey L. Mccauley
May 2, 1957 — February 12, 2013
Jeffrey L. McCauley, age 55 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013. He attended Atherton High School where he was on the football team and was a former employee of the old Citizens Bank. He was proudest of his son Adam who, as a UofL football tight end, was instrumental in winning the Liberty Bowl. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Jean Shaffer McCauley and his sister, Susie Horgan.
Jeff is survived by his son Adam (Leighann); 3 grandchildren, Abigail, Allison and Elaina; brother, Steve McCauley (Martie); and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral ceremony will be 4:00 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with visitation there from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to VFW Local 1170.
