Jeffrey Alan Collins

Jeffrey Alan Collins, born on October30, 1959, passed away on February 22, 2025. He was a graduate of Fern Creek High School where he grew up. Jeff was a man of exceptional dedication, evident in his unwavering commitment to his work, never missing a day throughout his career. Jeff was known for his intelligence and wit, traits that endeared him to friends and colleagues alike.

A passionate lover of music and sports, Jeff found joy in the sounds that stirred his spirit and the games that ignited his competitive fire. Above all, he cherished his family, holding them as his proudest accomplishment and a central part of his life.

In celebration of his life and contributions, services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272. Visitation will occur on March 9, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at  3:00 PM.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Helen Collins and his sister, Lisa Collins.

Jeff leaves behind to cherish his memories, his niece, Jami (Lucas Dillander) Collins; great nieces and nephews, Jacob, Alyssa, Lucas, Ezekiel, Cain and Abel; best friend, Danny and numerous family and friends. 

Jeff's legacy will live on through the memories he created and the love he shared with those fortunate enough to know him. His presence will be profoundly missed.
