Jeffrey Charles Cokeley

Jeffrey Charles "Coke" Cokeley, 64, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and had enjoyed his career as a fabricator. Jeff was known for always keeping himself busy and working in his "man cave."

He was born on April 15, 1958, in Wheeling, West Virginia, to Patricia (Quinn) Rush and the late James Nelson Cokeley. Along with his father, Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Emolyn Quinn.

In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by his children, Kammi Cokeley, Kerri Cokeley-McCarver (Brian), and Nick Cokeley (Kayla); siblings, Karen Scuilli, Randal Cokeley (Pam), Gary Cokeley (Ann), and Joyce Cokeley-Weltz; grandchildren, Kathryn McCarver, Christopher Pittman, Lexi Pittman, and Hattie Cokeley; and aunt and uncle, Bill and Carolyn Quinn.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His funeral service with military honors will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Jeff's wishes.
