Jeffrey Carter

Jeffrey Carter, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023. Jeffrey was a native of Hartford, CT and a long time resident of Louisville, KY. Jeffrey lived his life with a purpose of family, service, and community. Most family and friends knew him as a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc, a Patriots fan and Kentucky State University alumni.

He was born on April 26, 1955 in Hartford, Connecticut to Leroy Taylor and Frances Carter. He is preceded in death by his Father, Leroy E. Taylor, Sr., Mother, Frances Carter, and Sister, Tracy Carter.

Jeffrey is survived by his loving family, Son, Phillip Nelson Carter and Daughter, Uriah Lorraine Carter; Sister, Constance Carter; Nephew, Chance Carter; His brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. as well as a host of family and friends to cherish his memory forever.

The Celebration of Life service will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday March 18, 2023 at Emmanuel Baptist Church (3815 W Broadway Louisville, KY 40211)
