Jefferson Carl "Jeff" Foote, 48, passed away on Tuesday, February, 25, 2014. He loved working on cars, watching movies, playing cards with friends and family and spending time with his grandchildren. His family meant the world to him and he had a heart of gold.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Kaye Jones and grandparents, Carl and Sara Garrett.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Foote; daughters, Michelle (Kevin) Shannon, Samantha Foote, Whitney Foote and Destiny Foote; grandchildren, Jayden, Christopher, Jasmine and Alijah; father, Zachery Jones; sister, Dawn (Kevin) Smith; niece, Alexandra Smith and nephew Zachery Smith.
Visitation will be Friday, February, 28, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Brookland Cemetery, 4895 N. Preston Highway, Shepherdsville, KY.
