Jeannine Claire (Sturgeon) Magner, 72, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in New Albany, Indiana.
Jeannine was born on April 9, 1940 in Paoli, Indiana to the late Frank Sturgeon & Ruth (Lane) Sturgeon Barrett. She was united in marriage on June 7, 1959 to Stanley Dale Magner, which brought four children to bless their home.
Jeannine is survived by her husband, Stanley Magner; four children, Cindy Mizell (Jeff), Bradley Magner (Laura), Jeffrey Magner (Amy), & Michele Giselbach; sister, Joanne Elrod (Joe); 11 grandchildren, Tony, Tereasa, Kelly, Barney, Brooke, Jake, Christian, Alyssa, Justice, Dallan, & Kyla; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Her Visitation will take place from 4 PM to 8 PM on Friday, February 1, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will take place on Saturday at 10 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Paoli Community Cemetery in Paoli, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance (901 East Street NW, Suite 405, Washington, DC 20004).
