Jean Shizuko Profumo

Jean Shizuko Profumo, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Jean loved quilting, sewing, knitting, anything to do with yarn, and playing poker with family. She was the fun Nani who loved spending time with her grandkids. She had an infectious laugh and was always smiling. She had many dogs and loved them all dearly. She had a pure heart, if you knew her you knew love. Jean will truly be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on December 13, 1936 in Honolulu, Hawaii to George and Ethel (Tahara) Tengan. She is preceded in death by her Father, George Tengan, Mother, Ethel Tengan, Sons, David G. Profumo, Sr., Thomas G. Profumo, Great-Grandson, Trenton Graham, Siblings, George Tengan, Heru Agena, Mildred Togami, Harriet Tengan, Sarah Tengan, Rachel Tsui.

Jean is survived by her loving Husband of 70 years, Gaetano J. Profumo, Daughter, Patricia J. (Eddie) McCullough, Grandchildren, David Profumo, Jr., Kara-Jean Graham, Phillip Profumo, Jordan Profumo, Jaimee (Greg) Smith, Tyler Profumo, Michael (Casey) McCullough, Mason Profumo, Caitlin Padgett, Great-Grandchildren, Jailynn, Damien, Devin, Skylar, Kailani, Talus, Cayden, Lainey, Brother, Danny Tengan, Beloved Dog, Harley, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy Louisville, KY 40272). Her Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
