Jean A. (Sohm) O'Neil, 72, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Jean was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville.
Jean was born on April 5, 1940 in Shively, Kentucky to the late Stanley S. and Clara M. (Schreck) Sohm. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. O'Neil, Sr.; brother, Joseph L. Sohm; daughter-in-law, Sherry O'Neil; and great granddaughter, Ava O'Neil.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas O'Neil, Jr. (Rose), Michael O'Neil, and Stanley O'Neil (Stephanie); brothers, Kenny (Carol), Bob, and Steve Sohm; sister, Joyce Thompson (Charles "Bud"); grandchildren, Tom III (Khara), Chelsey, Bobby, and Bradley O'Neil; and great grandchildren, Landen, Alexa, Harley, and Olivia.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Sunday, November 4, 2012, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Monday, November 5, 2012, at St. Augustine Catholic Church (315 East Chestnut Street, Jeffersonville) with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
