Jeannette "Jean" Marie Hall, 65, a loving mother and grandmother, passed into the hands of Jesus on Saturday, July 27, 2013.
Jean was born on May 11, 1948 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Robert Lee & Joan Laverne (Bowe) Hall. She was a member of St. Joe Hill Catholic Church. Jean was very involved with the care of her special needs grandchild and devoted the last years of her life to it.
She is survived by her son, Brian Taylor; daughters, Dottie VanNote & Roxanne Hall; sisters, Jerri Lyle, Margie Plummer (John), Dora Bir (Steve), Mary Mayfield (Joe); brothers, Christopher & Tony Hall (Kim); 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Donna; brother, Robert Jr.; and grandson, Jesse.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 4 to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM on Wednesday at St. Joe Hill Catholic Church (2605 St. Joe Road West, Sellersburg, IN) with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
