Jean E.(Seipp) Kochert

Jean E. (Seipp) Kochert, 83, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sellersburg. Jean was an excellent cook and happiest when spending time with her family.
Jean was born on December 16, 1929 in Louisville to the late Charles and Cecelia (Borders) Seipp. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clemence Kochert; siblings, Charles Jr., Tony and Rita Seipp.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Sue Smith (Gerald), Linda C. Davis (Mike), Kenneth J. Kochert (Trina); siblings, Helen Bube, Joan Thomas (Lyle), James Seipp (Nancy), Martha Mull; grandchildren, Alan Smith, Craig Davis, Kelly Cagle, Deidre Wohlleb, Neil Kochert; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Her visitation will be 2 to 8 PM Monday, April 1, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Tuesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church (218 Schellers Avenue, Sellersburg, IN 47172) with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
Contributions in Jean's memory may be made to St. Paul's Catholic Church or the Alzheimer's Assocation.
