Jean Adair Colyer

Jean A. Colyer, age 75 of Simpsonville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022. She was born on October 7, 1947 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to the late Mildred and John Adair. She attended Eastern High School and Kentucky Southern College in Louisville, Kentucky. After graduation, she taught math at Fern Creek High School. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Jean is survived by her loving family, her husband, Jerald Colyer; daughter, Jennifer Richardson (Marc); son, Jeff Colyer (Brittney); grandchildren, Anna, Daniel and David Colyer and Alicia Richardson; and many friends and extended family.

Visitation will be 4 to 8pm on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions,235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243. A celebration of Jean's life will be 10am Friday, December 16th at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery, Crestwood, Kentucky.
