Jayson Anthony Manookian

Jayson Anthony Manookian, 21, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Jayson was a loving and devoted son, grandson, brother, and friend. He was fun loving, never met a stranger, and he was the definition of a true friend. Jayson had a smile that could light up a room and a contagious laugh. Most importantly, he was his sister's protector. To know Jayson was to know the love he had for Alexis. Jayson will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on January 14, 2003 in Manchester, New Hampshire to Shaun Manookian and Charity Ogden. He is preceded in death by his father, Shaun Manookian; grandmother, Nancy Manookian; and great-grandmother, Sandra Sandfer.

Jayson is survived by his loving family, Papa, Michael Manookian; mother, Charity Ogden; siblings, Alexis (Noah Vincent) Manookian and Ava Anderson; cousin, Chris Manookian; best friends/brothers, Parker and Samuel Sexton, Jalen Riddle; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.

The family requests that memorial contributions in Jayson's honor be made to Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions to assist with final expenses.
