Jason Nathaniel Wearren, age 40 passed away on June 23, 2022 in Louisville, Kentucky. Born in Louisville, Kentucky to Susan "Sue", Evans-Johnson and Douglas Ray Wearren Jr. Jason grew up in Louisville, attended Eastern High School and Eastern University where he met his beloved wife Jennifer Ruhl-Wearren. Jason worked as a project manager at American Refinishing Tub and Tile.
Jason was loved by many! He was kind, thoughtful and went out of his way to make others feel special. He loved boating, camping, hiking in Red River Gorge and music festivals. Halloween was his favorite holiday and was overjoyed with the birth of his son, Jory Noble Wearren on Halloween in 2016. Jason was a free spirit who enjoyed life to the fullest and had an adventurous heart! He always made sure everyone was having a great time! He loved to cook and made the simplest of meals extra special, he truly had a gift. He loved his two rescue pups Daisy and Petunia.
Jason is survived by his wife, Jennifer Ruhl-Wearren; son, Jory Noble Wearren; parents, Sue Johnson (Bruce) and Douglas Ray Wearren Jr. (Pam); brothers, Austin and Trevor Johnson;, grandmother, Mildred Wearren; grandfather, Douglas Ray Wearren, Sr.; grandmother, Sally Johnson; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jason is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Doris Bullen Sr.; his brother, Jory Nicholas Wearren; and great grandmother, Lillie Lillard.
Visitation will be 2:00 to 5:00 PM on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. Prayers will be held at 5:00 PM.
Interment will be at Middletown Historic Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky.
