He was born on August 13, 1975, in Peoria, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Harris, his maternal grandfather Marion Jean Scott, and his fraternal grandparents, Marshall & Betty Harris.

Jace graduated from Delavan High School (IL), he was a veteran and proudly served his country in the US Army. He attended the Volunteer State Community College. Jace was a certified small engine mechanic, driver for Smyrna Ready Mix (SRM), and a Jack of all trades..

Jace was a rock and country vocalist, enjoyed playing rhythm guitar, smoking/grilling BBQ, rooting for his Tennessee Volunteer and Tennessee Titans, collecting miniature trains.
