Jason "Jace" Marshall Harris, 48, of Louisville, Kentucky formerly of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023.
He was born on August 13, 1975, in Peoria, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Harris, his maternal grandfather Marion Jean Scott, and his fraternal grandparents, Marshall & Betty Harris.
Jace is survived by his loving wife, best friend and soulmate, Maria Ramos-Harris, his 6- pack, Bailey Stewart (Anna), Wyatt Harris, Dylan Stewart, Tyler Stewart, Everett Harris, Emerson Harris, mother, Julie Harris, brothers, Patrick and Colin Harris, grandmother, Patricia Joanne Scott-Hammond, his in-laws, The Ramos Family, his sisters and brother-by-love Rose Currey, Eric & Rose Crosslin, fur babies Ginger and Penny.
Jace graduated from Delavan High School (IL), he was a veteran and proudly served his country in the US Army. He attended the Volunteer State Community College. Jace was a certified small engine mechanic, driver for Smyrna Ready Mix (SRM), and a Jack of all trades..
Jace was a rock and country vocalist, enjoyed playing rhythm guitar, smoking/grilling BBQ, rooting for his Tennessee Volunteer and Tennessee Titans, collecting miniature trains. When not working or doing for others he could be found riding a Harley or playing golf. Jace always enjoyed working around the house, cooking, cleaning and calling himself "KB" (Kitchen Bitch). He was a protector, a supporter and a caretaker of his family. His sense of humor was one of a kind. He will be missed terribly.
A celebration of Jace's life will take place on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at 1:30 pm, Bud's Tavern 9119 Galene Drive, (J-Town) Louisville, Kentucky 40299. Details can be found on the Facebook event page set up by his wife and family.
