Janet Catherine O'Bryan

Janet Catherine O'Bryan, 79, passed away on June 21, 2022. She retired as a librarian from the City of Louisville. Janet was a two time cancer survivor showing her true fighting spirit. Janet's favorite place to vacation was the Smokey Mountains and enjoyed watching Hallmark movies and westerns. Janet's family meant the world to her and she loved spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis H. O'Bryan and parents, Maxie and Louise Martin.

Janet leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Kelly (Angela) O'Bryan, Sean (Paula) O'Bryan and Katie (John) O'Bryan; grandchildren, Sean O'Bryan, Jr. Tyler (Marissa) O'Bryan, Alex O'Bryan, Ahren O'Bryan and Danielle Miller; Cody O'Bryan, Megan O'Bryan, Shelby (Austin) Bowman, Blakie Biscomb, Jr., Morgan O'Bryan, Riley Chow and Ryan Louis Tillman and great-grandchildren, Keegan O'Bryan, Liam O'Bryan, Leila O'Bryan, Abigail O'Bryan, Kaylee Miller and Jayde Binford.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 3pm-8pm with a celebration of Janet's like beginning at 6pm.

Janet will be laid to rest at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central, 2501 N. Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY, July 18, 2022, beginning at 12:30pm.
