Janet Sue (Wynn) Mcdaniel

Janet Sue (Wynn) McDaniel, 74, of Pekin, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022. She retired from Philip Morris USA in Louisville. Janet enjoyed gardening and planting flowers and was known for her amazing zucchini bread.

She was born on November 6, 1947, in Seymour, Indiana, to the late William and Dottie (Callahan) Wynn. Janet is survived by her loving husband, Carl McDaniel, Sr.; son, James Marr; grandson, Gregory "Matt" Marr; stepsons, Carl, Jr., and Victor McDaniel; brothers, William, Jr., and Roger Wynn (Joyce); and sisters, Muzetta Daulton and Dorothy Martin.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Friday after 10:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville.

In honor of Janet's love for animals, contributions in her memory may be made to the Floyd County Animal Rescue League (215 W. Market Street, New Albany 47150).
