Janet Lou(Adams) Balmer

Janet Lou (Adams) Balmer, 68, of Starlight, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014. She was a farmer and part-owner of Balmer's Bloomers, as well as a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Starlight.
Janet was born on June 26, 1946 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Robert and Nancy (Moore) Adams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. "Ronnie" Balmer.
She is survived by her son, Greg Balmer (Terry); brothers, Chuck Adams (Lory), Jeff Adams, Eddie Adams; brother-in-laws, Steve Balmer (Karen), Bruce Balmer; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1 PM to 8 PM Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM, Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (8310 St. John's Road, Starlight) with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Contributions in Janet's memory may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (1201 Story Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206) or to a charity of donor's choice.
