Janet Kubran

Janet Anderson Kubran, age 64 passed away March 13, 2013. Janet was born and raised in Nyack, NY and lived in Louisville for the past 18 years. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Pewee Valley, where she served as a weekly greeter and Eucharistic minister. Janet was a dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed quiet time with her family and tennis in her spare time.

She was preceded in death by her parents Pierre and Loretta Anderson, her sister Virginia Anderson and her son Peter Kubran. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, John of Prospect, KY.; two sons, Brian of Lexington,KY. and Jeffery of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Hozik of Great Falls, VA.; and brother, David Anderson of Gulf Shores, AL. A funeral Mass and burial was conducted in New York.

A memorial Mass of Celebration will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church Chapel, 212 Mt Mercy Dr. Pewee Valley, KY 40056. Memorials may be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
