Jane Lee (Voyles) Southerland

Jane Lee (Voyles) Southerland, 67, of Galena, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. She was a long-time employee at Rite Aid in Floyds Knobs. Jane was an avid bingo player and also enjoyed going fishing and horseback riding.

She was born on July 25, 1951, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Gerald and Susie (Corley) Voyles. Jane was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry and David Voyles.

Jane is survived by her son, Randy Southerland (Melisa Bays); sisters, Susan Lee and Julie McClure (Warren); sister-in-law, Pat Voyles; grandchildren, Case Southerland and Shelby Rae Bays; nephews, Matthew McClure (Amanda), Nathaniel McClure (Amanda), and Benjamin McClure (Kat); and nieces, Sara McClure, Rebekah Duffy (Clayton), and Tabatha Duncan (Paul).

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Monday after 9:00 a.m. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Galena Cemetery.
