Sarah Jane Sutton Prell, 91, died at home on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Jane had fond memories of working at Bruce Fox and as a shipping clerk at Colgate-Palmolive where she retired after 35 years.
Jane was born November 15, 1921 in Rosewood, Indiana to the late Condia and Ida Sutton. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Curts B. Prell, and sisters, Margaret Knear, Thelma Hedden, and Venice Knear.
Jane is survived by her daughter, Conda Prell Puckett; sisters, Imogene Monson and Juanita Leffler; and grandchildren, September "Timmi" and Bryan Puckett.
Visitation will be from 10 AM to 2 PM Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 2 PM Tuesday at the funeral home followed by entombment at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Episcopal Church Home (7504 Westport Road, Louisville, KY 40222) or to Hosparus of Louisville (P. O. Box 35425, Louisville, KY 40232-9892).
