Jami Allison Duke, 44, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.
She was born on March 1, 1977 in Louisville, Kentucky to Henry and Bea (Chapman) Duke. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Duke.
After high school, Jami went on to graduate from cosmetology school. But her greatest passion was singing and she will always be remembered for her beautiful anointed singing voice.
Jami is survived by her loving children, Zoe and Trinity Thomas, siblings, Kathy (Bob) Carter, Patti (Robert) Giles and their son Brendan, Kevin (Tonya) Duke, and Bobby Lee Hale, nieces and nephews, Brandi Robinson, Robert Carter, III, Robert Allen Giles, M.D., Branden Duke, Laura Elizabeth Duke and Dustin Tyler.
The family requests that contributions in Jami 's memory be made to the Hope Life Center (Po Box 197206 Louisville, KY 40259.
A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, January 1, 2022 from 11-1pm at Holy Chapel (2357 W Bluelick Rd, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A service celebrating Jami's life will begin at 1pm at the church.
