James "Bo Bo" Young, 54, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. He was born on September 10, 1962, in New Albany, Indiana, to James William and Lillian (Burl) Young. Bo Bo worked as a chef for many years at Kelsey's Bar and Grill and Tommy Lancaster's Restaurant. He was a member at Bethel AME Church in New Albany, Indiana. Bo Bo enjoyed coaching and playing football, was an avid UofL fan, and loved spending time with his family and friends.
Bo Bo was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillian Young; and a sister, Agnes Booker. He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa (Loesch) Young; his daughter, Autumn Lewis (Terri Coleman); siblings, Curtis D. Young (Sharon), Wanda Covington, Wilma Orndorff (Victor), Dorothy Jackson (Marvin), Diedra Young, and Eric Young; 2 grandchildren, Hezekiah Lewis and Michael Coleman; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). His Service will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation before from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Bethel AME Church (315 East Fifth Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Burial will follow at Westhaven Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
