James William Stone, 83, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, He was stationed in England during the Korean War and was owner/manager of Stoney's Auto Supply for 32 years. He was a member of Graceland Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cody and Anna McGuffin Stone and son-in-law, Gregory P. Marks.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 63 years, Dorenne Wilson Stone; his daughter, Lorna Stone Marks; his granddaughter, Nicole Marks and fiancé Brandon Isaacs; grandson, Justin Marks; great-grandson, Jayden Alford-Marks and his many loving friends.
Visitation will be Friday, July 12, from 10am-12pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY and funeral services Friday at 12pm at Newcomer Funeral Home with burial following at Resthaven.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of your choice.
